There was once a time when men in Armani suits, convertible sports cars, fast women and illicit deals ruled the silver screen. This was when classic film noir met the vibrant pastel days and neon nights of the 1980s, when desperate men drove to the edge on rain-soaked streets as the pulsating tones of sleazy synth-rock rocked on the soundtrack. This isn’t Neo Noir -- this is Neon Noir. The Cinefamily presents eight distinct flashy and electrifying boilers from the Reagan era; from the surreal mansions in the Hollywood Hills to the lit-up mean streets of Chicago, you’ll be dazzled by the sights and sounds of an unforgettable era, when excess was king, when greed was good, and when men fought their enemies (and personal demons) in totally awesome style.

Now that's a mighty fine lineup. Wish I could see every single one.

I remember back in the video store days we created a Sunshine Noir section. This would have been the perfect compliment to that.
